## Free tools and a page for every endpoint

October 6, 2026

- New: Free tools at stophy.dev/tools: YouTube transcript, comments, tags and stats, TikTok transcript, Reddit search, and Google Maps places as a CSV file.
- New: A page for each endpoint, listed at stophy.dev/apis, and setup pages for the MCP server and the CLI at stophy.dev/mcp and stophy.dev/cli.
- New: youtube.comments works without a key. tiktok.transcript works without a key for videos that have captions.
- Improved: youtube.search returns channelAvatarUrl for each video.
- Improved: The homepage has a search box that calls the API with no key.

## One page per call, and more endpoints without a key

October 2, 2026

- New: The MCP server at mcp.stophy.dev/mcp has browser sign-in, so an agent connects with no API key.
- New: Google News, YouTube search, YouTube video details, YouTube transcripts, Reddit search and Google Maps places work without a key.
- New: New Google endpoints: google.news, google.images, google.shopping and google.aiMode. Web search is now google.search.
- Improved: Every list endpoint returns one page of results. The limit input is removed. Send cursor or page to get the next page.
- Improved: Most calls cost 1 credit.
- Fixed: Not-found and bad-input errors say what to do next.
- Fixed: A sorted Reddit search matches the exact phrase.

## App Store, Google Play, Indeed and Tripadvisor

- New: App Store and Google Play endpoints.
- New: Indeed and Tripadvisor endpoints.
- Improved: Credits cost $1.50 per 1,000, and less on larger top-ups.
- Fixed: Pages of results do not repeat or skip rows.
