Terms of Service & Privacy

By accessing or using Stophy, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are using Stophy on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization. If you do not agree, do not use Stophy.

Stophy is an API platform that retrieves and structures publicly available web content for use in AI agents, automations, and other workflows. We return structured JSON across all endpoints.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. For material changes, we will notify you via email or the dashboard.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and API keys, and for all activity that occurs under your account. You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page.

You agree not to use Stophy to violate any law or regulation, infringe the rights of any third party, transmit malicious code, abuse or overload our infrastructure, or use the service in any way that creates legal liability for Stophy or other users.

You are solely responsible for ensuring your use of Stophy and its outputs complies with applicable laws and any applicable third-party terms in your jurisdiction.

We collect your name, email, and profile avatar when you authenticate. We log API request metadata: endpoint, status code, credits consumed, and response time. Payments are processed by Stripe; we receive transaction confirmations.

We do not log or store the content of your API requests or responses. We do not sell your personal data. We use only essential session cookies.

Request logs are retained for 90 days. When you delete your account, all associated data is permanently removed within 30 days, except records we are legally required to retain. To exercise data rights, email support@stophy.dev.

Credits are non-expiring and apply across all endpoints. All purchases are final. If you are located in the EU, you have a statutory right to withdraw within 14 days of purchase - by completing checkout you expressly request immediate delivery and acknowledge that this right is waived once credits are applied to your account.

Stophy is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any data returned will be complete or accurate.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Stophy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 90 days preceding the claim, or (b) 100 EUR.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Estonia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Harju County, Estonia. Nothing in these Terms affects any non-waivable rights you may have under the laws of your jurisdiction.
