No. You call Stophy. You need no X developer account, no login and no paid X plan. x.profile and x.post also work without a Stophy API key, and a free daily limit applies.
A profile has username, name, bio, location, website, joinedAt, followers, following, posts and verifiedType. A post has text, publishedAt, likes, replies, reposts, quotes, bookmarks, views, media, links and the author.
No. The endpoints read public profiles and public posts. They do not post, like, follow or send messages, and they do not log in. They do not search X, and they do not list the posts of an account or the replies to a post.
No endpoint returns a cursor. x.profile and x.post each return one item for each call. To read a post, send its postUrl or postId.
Each X endpoint costs 1 credit when the call returns data. A deleted or protected post returns an error. A call that returns an error or an empty list uses 0 credits.
Connect the agent to https://mcp.stophy.dev/mcp and sign in with your browser. To use an API key, connect to https://api.stophy.dev/mcp and send the header Authorization: Bearer <key>. The agent calls each endpoint by its id in camelCase. For example, x.profile is xProfile and x.post is xPost.
