No. You send a post link or a post id to Stophy. You need no X developer account and no X login. The endpoint also works with no Stophy key, within a daily limit.
1 credit for a post that returns data. A call that returns an error uses 0 credits. 1,000 credits cost $1.50, and less on bigger top-ups. Every account starts with 1,000 free credits.
One post. It has postId, postUrl, text, publishedAt, language, likes, replies, reposts, quotes, bookmarks, views, media, links, hashtags, mentions, isEdited and isSensitive, plus the author's authorId, authorUsername, authorName, authorUrl and authorIsVerified.
The post is not public. A deleted post, a protected post, a post hidden from signed-out visitors and an unknown id all return a not found error.
Each media item has type, url, thumbnailUrl, width, height, durationSeconds and altText. A photo links to the original size. A post can have photos, a video or a GIF.
Not always. views is empty when X has no view count for the post, which can happen on older posts. The other counts are always there.
Yes. Add the MCP server at https://api.stophy.dev/mcp to Claude, Cursor or Codex. The agent calls the endpoint by the id xPost. There is nothing to install and no X login.
