No. You call Stophy, so you need no Reddit app, no OAuth token and no Reddit login. The first page of reddit.search works without a Stophy API key, and a free daily limit applies. Every other call needs a Stophy API key.
Posts, comments, subreddits and users. A post has postId, postUrl, title, text, subreddit, authorUsername, score, upvotePercent, comments and publishedAt. A comment has commentId, parentId, depth, text and score. A subreddit has members, description and rules. A user has postKarma, commentKarma and createdAt.
No. The endpoints read public Reddit data. They do not post, comment, vote or send messages, and they do not log in to a Reddit account.
Every Reddit endpoint returns a cursor when more results exist. Send that cursor in the next call, with the same inputs. On reddit.search, a request with a cursor needs an API key.
1 credit for each call that returns data, on every Reddit endpoint. A call that returns an error or an empty list uses 0 credits. A new account has 1,000 credits.
