The agent calls appstoreTop with chart set to free and a genre, and saves rank for each appId. It then calls appstoreApp on the apps that are new to the chart.

No. You call Stophy with a Stophy API key. You need no Apple Developer account and no App Store Connect key.
An app has name, bundleId, developerName, price, genres, version, releaseNotes, sizeBytes, rating and ratings, plus ratingsOne to ratingsFive. A review has rating, title, text, authorName and publishedAt. A chart entry has rank, appId, name and developerName.
No. The endpoints read the public App Store. They return no download counts, no revenue and no App Store Connect data. They do not post reviews or reply to them, and they do not sign in with an Apple account.
appstore.search and appstore.top take device, which is iphone, ipad or mac. country takes a two-letter code and defaults to us. Each country has its own reviews.
appstore.reviews takes page. appstore.search and appstore.top return one list, and you set limit to choose how many apps you get. appstore.app returns one app.
appstore.app and appstore.reviews cost 1 credit for each call that returns data. appstore.search and appstore.top cost 1 credit for every 10 apps returned, so set limit to cap the cost. A call that returns an error or an empty list uses 0 credits.
Connect the agent to https://mcp.stophy.dev/mcp and sign in with your browser. To use an API key, connect to https://api.stophy.dev/mcp and send the header Authorization: Bearer <key>. The agent calls each endpoint by its id in camelCase. For example, appstore.app is appstoreApp and appstore.top is appstoreTop.
