No. You send a Stophy API key and a post link. You need no Reddit app and no Reddit login.
The post and a results list of comments. The post has title, text, score, upvotePercent, comments and publishedAt. Each comment has commentId, commentUrl, parentId, authorUsername, text, score, publishedAt and depth.
Each comment has a depth and a parentId. A top-level comment has depth 0. A reply has the commentId of its parent in parentId, so you can build the tree again.
sort takes best, top, newest, controversial, old or qa. These are Reddit's own comment sorts. The default is best.
Send the cursor from the last response with the same post. To read one comment's thread, set comment to that comment's id or link.
