No. You call Stophy with a Stophy API key and a reel link. You need no Instagram account and no speech-to-text service of your own.
The words of the reel in text, plus videoId, videoUrl, language, isAutoGenerated and durationSeconds. When the words come from the audio, transcribedSeconds is the length of audio that was transcribed.
1 credit when the video has captions. Otherwise 2 credits plus 1 credit for every 10 seconds of audio, up to 30 minutes. A call that returns an error or an empty transcript uses 0 credits.
Set includeTimestamps to true. Each item in the segments list then gives a part of the reel's speech with its startSeconds and endSeconds.
Send videoUrl, which is the link to a reel or a video post. Or send videoId, which is the post code in that link. A photo post has no video to transcribe.
